Gift Wrapping Ideas

I learned how to gift wrap from my mother. My grandmother is an expert and my sister is much better than I, but I managed to pick up a few tricks. Sharp creases are key to getting a good wrap. Keep it simple. And put some thought into it.

Father's Day is this Sunday and I want to share a few ideas when it comes to wrapping their special gifts.

I firmly believe flowers are not just for girls. Everyone feels special when they receive something pretty and green. It adds a thoughtful touch to any gift.

Start with a simple canvas. Everyone likes brown paper packages tied up with string.

You can purchase brown paper rolls in the mail or packaging section of most stores.

Add a touch of color.

A succulent can add some whimsy to a package. And it's also a second little gift.

Have fun and put your own spin on your gift.

What are you getting your father for Father's Day?
